I knew a guy that would take all the loser tickets from the trash and enter them into a website some “try again” thing. He would do that at his desk all day.
I worked with a Panamanian guy who used to spend sixty or seventy bucks a day on scratch offs and lotto tickets. Every couple months he’d hit for like five hundred bucks and strut around the break room like a rooster and nobody had the heart to tell him he was still at a big loss
