During Trump’s first term, after the U.S.-China confrontation, China came to recognize this. In the past, virtually every U.S. president, along with Washington’s foreign-policy establishment, the broader China-policy establishment, Democrats focused on human rights, and Republican hawks such as Marco Rubio, would put China’s political system at the top of the agenda in virtually every discussion involving China.

Trump just blocked CNN and MSNOW from the White House State Dinner with President Xi! CNN’s reporter is stuck outside while everyone else is inside. They tried to boycott him, but it doesn’t matter—he plays hardball and we see right through them. 🔥
