Excited to share that @NorwestVP is leading @beltichq's seed round as the company emerges from stealth today.
As AI agents begin transacting on behalf of businesses and consumers, financial institutions and merchants will need to know more than who an agent is. They’ll need to understand what it’s authorized to do, on whose behalf, and who is accountable. We believe that creates an entirely new infrastructure layer for agentic commerce.
That’s what Beltic is building.

For agents to actually do meaningful work on our behalf, we need a way to know who they represent, what they’re allowed to do, and how that authority propagates as work gets delegated between agents.

The Norwest-led round brings the startup’s total funding to ~$8.8M.
As agentic commerce grows, Beltic is tackling a new problem: businesses need to know not just who is behind an AI agent, but what that agent is actually authorized to do.
