I've done rescue in Michigan for 30 yrs. I used to work directly w the shelter and still have rescue friends who do. Rescues/volunteers have been banned for exposing atrocities. Despite a new shelter in 24 they still killed dozens of animals daily. It's a slaughterhouse

I saw this last week on Facebook. While he was Director he had a 72% kill rate and the place was a total filthy mess. When a new director came in, the place was cleaned up and kill rate dropped to 32%.
