My fave #MoonshadowSeries acting scenes:
EMI:
I'm talking about the entire scene bec the number of emotions Emi was able to convey was just awesome to me.
The way she's immediately on guard the moment she sees lighted candles in her safe space just bec the possibility exists that it might be Jay.
We see Chan go from wary to tired to registering that it's Key standing before her. And then that brief moment of relief hits her and breaks the dam and we see just how tensed and on fight mode Chan actually was throughout the entire ep.
We see the exact moment when her mind goes "Ef it, I'll take what she's offering" and then she starts being hungry, desperate, and careless-- like a wounded animal. And that's exactly the expression we're left with when Key snaps her out of it.
And then the absolute humility to ask for what she needed in her moment of weakness and apologize for what she wasn't ready to give yet, coupled with the sheer gratitude for being shown love wo being asked for anything in return.
This woman has had everyone depending on and wanting things from her for far too long. And she's always dealt with pain on her own.
This was a powerful show of vulnerability from Chan, and a great show of love from Key.
I love it. It's the best scene in the series for me.
One thing about me.
I'm going to survive the plot twist.
I'm a plot twist veteran.
A pivot princess.
A reinvention queen.
A bounce-back baddie.
I'll figure it out.
one of the stranger parts of being an adult is realising how many people have never questioned a single belief they inherited, not even out of curiosity.
how did u guys even find an acc with 0 following and 0 followers. let them argue with the air. if u give them clout, two jobless haters are gonna lock eyes in the replies and form a haters club. bury them in positive eb posts and move on
everyone needs to learn what codependency ACTUALLY means. it’s not just being obsessed with your partner— the term was coined by loved ones of alcoholics who ruined their lives trying to save someone else. codependency means trying to save others at the cost of yourself
