For years and years, John Leguizamo claimed to be half Puerto Rican. After he was honored at the Puerto Rican Day parade in 2011 and told reporters his father was from Aguadilla, his father publicly contradicted him, saying the family is Colombian and has no connection to Puerto Rico. But Leguizamo still claimed to have family in Puerto Rico during a 2017 talk show appearance. The truth of his family history was confirmed in a 2022 episode of Finding Your Roots. He claimed that he had believed his family had connections to Puerto Rico because there is a barrio there with his surname. But that story doesn’t explain the very specific untrue claims he’s made about his family over the years. All this time he’s been whining about other actors not matching the ethnicity of the roles while lying about his own ethnicity. He also appears to have lied about his age throughout his career, making himself 4 years younger.

Nextdoor is suspending accounts for commenting "YES on G." Its explanation? "Spam." More than 10 SF residents I know have described the same experience since last Thursday. They didn't create posts telling anyone how to vote. They simply said "YES on G" in comments and received account suspension notices. Last year, during the Recall Engardio campaign, I saw ordinary D4 neighbors flagged, removed, and silenced while posts supporting Joel Engardio and his agenda remained. Joel's campaign manager, Josh, even faked his address to pretend he was a D4 resident so he could influence the district. 🫠 Total control. This year, seeing both YES and NO discussions on @Nextdoor gave neighbors some hope that different views would finally be respected. But we were too optimistic again. Someone at Nextdoor was just waiting for the right moment. Now, suspensions are happening just as ballots arrive. The timing is interesting. Even a temporary suspension takes away a neighbor's voice during a critical part of the election. Especially for the SF neighbors impacted by the permanent closure of the Great Highway. "No" already had tons of money, why are they doing this retaliation again? Is Nextdoor treating "NO on G" comments as spam, too? Neighbors deserve an answer. When moderators can silence one side, their power deserves scrutiny. Nextdoor must explain these suspensions, provide a transparent appeal process, and apply the same standards to everyone, including the "No, absolutely no sharing." "Spam" should not become an excuse to silence political disagreement. Please stay strong everyone. 🙏 Vote YES on G. The compromise is a fair share.

Today, the Justice Department’s Weaponization Working Group issued a report detailing how Biden Administration officials at the Department of Justice explored avenues to prosecute parents and protestors who spoke to school boards and school officials during the Covid-19 pandemic. Records show Biden White House and Justice Department leadership pushed for a memo which sought to find a federal “hook” to prosecute parents and charge protestors with federal crimes, despite widespread concerns from attorneys and agents. This report follows letters sent earlier today by Department of Justice and @usedgov leadership to all 50 state attorneys general on parental rights.
