I remember 10 years ago, if you wanted skins that weren't poop colored or army mesh you had to drop 1000+ for a decent looking load out. We have come a long way since then but valve caused this market mess because it wants to kill 3rd party trading especially for expensive items.
There is a bit of a paradox here.
Players wanted skin prices to drop so they could afford them as playskins. Prices have dropped but now the problem is that everything is going down slow bleeding.
So, is it good for them that prices are dropping or not? Idk anymore

I dont even think its about gambling restrictions because they just released the jackass sticker capsule. I think valve is just trying to experiment and failed. We will 100% get capsules for the next major or some sort of surprise/chance mechanic like trading cards

The price of items was always determined by the players in real time whether it was steam market or 3rd party. What valve is attempting to do is literally print money using the terminals and new major sticker by saying X item costs this much because we say it does. Clowns.

Problem with agents is that valve shot themselves in the foot. They could have sold pieces of the agent individually like the hat, glasses, watch, shoes, etc. The proof is patches. Another experiment of agent customization that they tried selling but they never followed up on.

It isnt a bubble and its not an increase in demand (there are no new players playing the game since it's the same 7 dogshit maps and same gamemode every year).
What you're seeing is the effects of the crypto crash and traditional currency losing 50%+ its value since covid.
What if China doesn't want to engage in short-term manipulation, but instead set high prices forever?
Create an elitist market where enrichment is gradual rather than a matter of months?
Have you ever considered that this isn't a bubble and is the new reality for skin prices?
