Future companies will be small and largely employee-owned! Small teams of around 10-20 people will own multi-billion-dollar corporations. Everyone will be a part-owner and supervise super agents. These super agents will, in turn, create and run multiple specialized tasks and sub-agents from an AGI control center!

This is the end of middle management. You either build the agent or you own the company. There is no job in between. The org chart flattens to a pancake.

When agents do the execution, ownership and coordination become the primary source of power, and scale no longer comes from headcount. A unique take!

the future org chart is 10 people and 1000 agents

Building this way already. 10 ppl, no plans to hire more. The work that used to need 3 ppl now needs 1 with the right setup. Dont know about AGI control centers but the small team high leverage part is already here. Ownership alignment is the real deal to crack..

We're moving from a world of managing people to a world of managing outputs. The most valuable skill in 2026 isn't leadership in the traditional sense, it's the ability to architect a high-fidelity feedback loop for agents.

living this now. 2-person team, agents doing what used to need 10+. bottleneck shifts from "can we hire" to "can we direct agents well enough"

Future companies will be run by superintelligent immortal robots.🙃 Humans will ascend to higher dimensions leving machines to run the planet.

We don't know. What we do know: every wave of automation promised small teams replacing large ones. Reality is messier, new coordination problems emerge that we can't predict from here.

The size of the team won’t matter as much as the architecture they operate within. Small groups + powerful agents can scale, but only if coordination, ownership and governance don’t collapse under their own weight.

10-20 might even be high. Instagram was 13 people at the $1B acquisition and that was before agents handled execution. the real question is what those humans actually do all day. if agents handle the building, the job becomes taste and strategy - completely different skill set than what we currently train people for.

Future companies will look like this: Humans → define goals & constraints Super-agents → plan & delegate Sub-agents → execute The real job title won’t be engineer or manager. It’ll be Agent Orchestrator.

Power concentrates around judgment, not labor.

Ownership compresses as leverage expands. Small teams plus autonomous agents change how scale is built, not who creates it.

@bindureddy, That is a good vision for the future of work! Employee ownership can foster motivation and innovation. Let's see how this model evolves.

Real scale isn't just about automating the grind. It’s about bearing ultimate responsibility and legal risk. 20 people can’t absorb the weight of a global infrastructure. AI isn't going to decentralize wealth; it’s going to give the people who own the chips even more leverage.

Yes, all this is due to the massive productivity increase that the current state-of-the-art technologies bring to their customers.

The concept of headcount as a vanity metric is over. In the future, having 10,000 employees won't mean you're successful; it will mean you're inefficient. We are about to see the first one-person unicorn, and it will change everything

That future feels plausible. AI compresses execution so much that leverage shifts from headcount to judgment and ownership. Small, aligned teams with equity and strong decision-makers can outcompete massive orgs weighed down by coordination.

It will be AI owned.

The supervision part is the open question. 10-20 ppl overseeing billions in operations means trusting systems you can't fully audit. That's a different skillset than running a company today. The multi-billion dollar part is plausible. The everyone owns it and understands what's happening part is harder to picture.

This is already taking place in early AI-native companies. Ten to twenty people and strong agents lead to huge scale.

Ownership will replace headcount, small teams with leverage, not large orgs with layers, will define the next generation of companies.

The future of work looks promising, but how will these super agents be trained and managed to ensure consistent quality across all tasks?

10-20 people ❌️ 1-2 people ✅️

This is exactly the thesis. 10–20 humans + AGI control center running sub-agents = multi-billion outcome. The small-team swarm owners are going to eat the next decade.
