Finally, Bingers is out 🎉
Took us longer than we wanted, but we didn't want to ship something ugly or clunky.
It's a first version so there’s probably tones of things to improve, but we'll be reading every piece of feedback.
Let's make it perfect together.

Also in 1.0: the countdown is now on the show page, Bingers keeps working in Spain when LaLiga blocks hit, and sign-in recovers from bad connections.
Update from the App Store or Google Play.

One more thing: many of you asked kindly how they could support the development of the app and the server costs. We're introducing Bingers premium plans for that.
Core of the app will remain free, but we're also introducing some cool new features for the ones paying us a coffee each month ☺️
Amongst those features:
• App icons and your own app colour
• Creator stats: your best time to post and your top comments
• Plex auto-tracking and your own API
• Your name in the credits
• And my favorite: Bingers inside ChatGPT and Claude (icon plan only for now)👇

Quick one: for the people asking for the show / season graph showing the ratings for each episode for each seasons, what's the use for it? Is it to decide if you should start the show? To decide if you should stop it? Just because it's fun to see the trend? Would love to know more

Bingers 0.2.4 is out 🍿 with a cool new way for you to see what your friends are watching and commenting. The friends feed is available in the explore tab.

Like always, it's spoiler-safe by design 🤐
You only see a friend's take on episodes you've already watched. Everything else stays hidden until you catch up.
A friend just added something new? That shows up too, so you know what to start next.

Hey, we're working on an Android fix for the people that are experiencing slowliness and lags there. Would love to add more people to the beta to confirm or not that the issue is fixed there. For the ones interested, please shoot an email to support@bingers.app so I can add you there

Smaller things you'll notice:
• A movie's release date is only as exact as we know it: the day, the month or just the year
• The app should load a lot faster when opening the app
• Your watch list scrolls more smoothly
• Big libraries save and sync faster
• An actor who plays several roles gets a favourite-character heart for each one again
• Headers sit right on iOS 27, and the layout fits iPhone Duo
