I learned early what dirty water can do to a body—and to a life. During the hard years I spent in a Thai orphanage camp, the only water we had was poisoned. Drinking it wrecked my body for good, and those scars have ridden me every day since. Years later, after I got out of the Marine Corps, I worked long days in the fields under intense heat. I was constantly dehydrated because I simply wasn’t getting the proper hydration my body needed. Everything on the market felt like junk. My wife has always been deeply health-conscious. She pays close attention to what we put into our bodies and constantly looks for better, cleaner ways to stay well. When she saw how often I was dehydrated and how the products on the shelves just weren’t cutting it, she pushed me and inspired me to do something about it. So I decided to create a hydration product that actually works the way the body needs it to—something free of the junk we’d both grown tired of seeing everywhere. That’s how this hydration product was born—not just from an idea, but from a deeper calling. At the same moment, a fire was lit in my heart: a mission to reach communities across the world still thirsting for clean water and to bring them the life-giving access they’ve been denied. And as we carry pure water to the thirsty, we carry something even greater. Along the way, we share the living water of the Gospel—the truth that transforms hearts, restores dignity, and points every soul to the One who quenches forever.

We understand why beef prices are a problem right now. Ground beef is averaging $6.89 a pound, up 57% since 2021, and that's real pressure on American families. But flooding the market with 300,000 metric tons of imported ground beef with no tariff for 90 days is not a solution for American ranchers. It's a short-term price fix that puts more downward pressure on the cattle producers who are already struggling to stay viable. Trump has not said which countries this beef is coming from or who committed to the 25% price reduction he's promising. American cattle ranchers have been dealing with years of drought, high feed costs, and a shrinking herd. The answer to that is not more cheap imported beef with lower standards competing against them on shelves with no country of origin label required to tell you the difference. We will continue to source 100% American. That is not changing.

Stop letting one bad local experience push you straight into the arms of corporations. That awkward service? That slow coffee? That overpriced sandwich? It’s still better giving your money to faceless giants who extract every dollar and leave your town poorer. Support local even when it’s imperfect. Because every dollar that stays here builds the community we actually live in. Buy local. 🇺🇸✊🏻

Today we gather to remember the empty tomb and the risen Savior. The Lord’s Day is the day set apart to worship the One who conquered death, to rest in His finished work, and to rejoice in the hope of new life. Happy Lord’s Day!
