It’s always encouraging to see people give up a Friday just to come and learn, share ideas, and connect with others interested in Bitcoin. That’s how communities are built. @bitdevsAccra continues to do its part, and together with the many other initiatives in Ghana, we’re seeing the ecosystem grow month after month. ⚡🇬🇭
BitDevs Accra keeps growing. 🟠 Thanks to everyone who came through for our latest meetup on Friday . Every month, we learn, question ideas, and deepen our understanding of #Bitcoin together. If you missed this , we’ll be back again this month Stay tuned for the next one⏳

What does it take to grow the Bitcoin open-source ecosystem? Behind every contribution, project, program, and community is a story of curiosity, persistence, collaboration, and the people creating opportunities for others to build. Btrust in Focus is a new conversation series exploring the people behind Btrust's mission and the broader Bitcoin open-source ecosystem. Through conversations with builders, educators, community leaders, program operators, ecosystem partners, and members of the Btrust team, we explore the journeys, challenges, lessons, and experiences behind the work of growing Bitcoin. Across nine episodes, you'll hear from people building products, supporting developers, strengthening communities, advancing Bitcoin education, and creating pathways for the next generation of open-source contributors. The first episode premieres next week, with new episodes dropping every Friday. Subscribe to our YouTube channel and turn on notifications so you don't miss an episode: piped.video/@btrust_tech

One of the best decisions I made was learning Bitcoin in a community instead of trying to figure everything out alone. If you’re in Ghana, this is your invitation. Join us at @bitdevsAccra this Friday. Ask questions, meet other Bitcoiners, and let’s learn together. See you there. ⚡
BitDevs is a space for asking questions, exchanging ideas, and learning alongside others who share your curiosity. These discussion-led meetups bring together developers, designers, researchers, writers, students, and people from many other backgrounds. Participants examine new proposals, challenge assumptions, share different perspectives, and learn from one another. You don’t need to be technical or have all the answers to take part. Over time, these conversations can lead to deeper knowledge, new collaborations, research, projects, and contributions across the Bitcoin ecosystem. Our latest article explains what happens at a BitDevs meetup, why these communities matter, and how you can get involved.

Over the past few weeks, the team has been putting in a lot of work behind the scenes, and it’s great to finally see some of it come to life. BitSpenda is now live in 5 countries: Ghana 🇬🇭, Nigeria 🇳🇬, Kenya 🇰🇪, Uganda 🇺🇬, and Cameroon 🇨🇲. There’s still a lot more happening in the background. The team is constantly building and improving on products, a lot of groundworks. Our goal is simple: make Bitcoin easier to access, easier to use, and useful for everyday life across Africa. Alongside that, we believe education matters. The more people understand Bitcoin, the more confidently they can use it. Thanks to everyone who’s been supporting and sharing feedback. We’ve got a lot more coming. 🔥
We’re growing! 🚀 BitSpenda can now process payments to two more companies, and that means we’re officially live in 5 countries across Africa. Say hello to our newest markets: Uganda 🇺🇬 and Cameroon 🇨🇲 Click on the link below for the full blog bitspenda.app/blog/bitspenda…

Did you know? Bitcoin private keys are protected by numbers so massive that guessing one is practically impossible. ⚡️ That’s what makes Bitcoin cryptography incredibly secure. 🔐

A new Bitcoin merchant just appeared in your country!👀 That’s what makes Africa’s Bitcoin map so exciting right now, projects, communities, and merchants are popping up in more places every month. We launched our Live Directory to help people find where Bitcoin is being used, who’s building, and how to get involved. For beginners, it’s a simple way to see that Bitcoin adoption in Africa is already happening, not someday, but now. Submit a new project to be added here: directory.bitcoiners.africa/ #BitcoinAfrica #LearnBitcoin #SelfCustody #BitcoinAdoption #AfricanBitcoiners
