Elon Musk says the government made SpaceX put headphones on a seal.. TWICE.. before it could launch a rocket the seal was strapped to a board and played sonic booms through the headphones the reason.. regulators wanted to know if rocket noise at Vandenberg would stop seals from breeding.. Elon says the seal count there kept going up while launches went up the seal stayed calm the government did not Starship hit the same wall.. the FAA had already said yes.. but the rocket still had to wait for Fish and Wildlife to work out the odds of it hitting a shark or a whale in the open Pacific the odds were close to zero.. it still had to wait then on October 10, 2024 the California Coastal Commission voted against letting SpaceX go from 36 to 50 launches a year at Vandenberg.. and some commissioners openly brought up Musk's politics the seals passed the test.. the humans failed it most of this goes back to the Marine Mammal Protection Act.. signed on October 21, 1972.. a law made to stop people hunting seals and whales.. not rockets you probably think the rocket is the hard part of going to space it's not anymore SpaceX can catch a rocket out of the air.. and it still needs a seal to sign off x.com/NarutoNolimits/status/…
