When I see post like this it makes assume that many don't think before posting stuffs. How many people are this transport serving per a day in Abuja? I apply the route of the rail track almost everyday and this train only pass at its convenient. It is as good as nothing.
The Abuja Metro Rail has been running free to commuters since its relaunch in May 2024, and as of 2026, commuters are still using it without paying a fare.
Think about that for a moment.
A major public transportation system serving Abuja, connecting parts of the city to the airport, has remained operational and free for commuters for over two years.
We can criticize the government where criticism is deserved, but we should also be honest enough to acknowledge things that are working.
If it works, say it works. If it fails, say it failed. Accountability should not mean refusing to recognize progress.

3 weeks ago, I visited Anambra and at Upper Iweka, a yellow and black mini bus pulled up right in front of my vehicle.
5 men came down, all tatteredly dressed, dreads, crazy jeans, snail shells around some necks and muscles. Some wore dirty face caps and tattered shoes.
One thing stood out. 2 out of the 5 were weilding Beryl M762 rifles while the rest had AK47 rifles. They all had they safety catches opened!
They wanted to pick 2 boys from that place but met resistance from the locals, and so they released a total of 10 shots in the air.
Mind you, they never cocked those rifles there, which means; the rifles were already cocked and had rounds in their chambers!
I had to stay clear and invicible until they left.
When i asked questions, the locals said the men were members of ANTI TOUT!
Bro, like i said, they might be IPOB but don't be Quick to rule out the fact that state governors also arm touts in their states to "perform different functions."

Good news: Dr. Iheukwumere Ikechukwu of the Department of Microbiology at COOU has been sacked by the Governing Council of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.
He sexually abused students and engaged in different forms of misconduct.
Four other academic staff members were also sacked, including two professors.
We are restoring integrity in our universities, which will in turn improve the quality of our graduates.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has warned opposition parties against zoning their 2027 presidential ticket to the South, saying such a move could weaken chances of defeating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement by his spokesperson, Olusola Sanni, Atiku described the push as “self-defeating and intellectually dishonest,” insisting politics should be based on strategy and “hard electoral arithmetic,” not “emotional talking points.”
“The first and most obvious question is this: how does a Southern opposition candidate realistically unseat a sitting Southern president?” the statement asked, adding that no incumbent president has been defeated by an opposition candidate from the same region.
The camp also argued that by 2027, the South would have spent about 18 years in power in the Fourth Republic, compared to about 10 years for the North, making the zoning argument difficult to justify “under the guise of equity.”
Atiku further accused some politicians of hypocrisy for supporting Goodluck Jonathan’s presidency in 2011 after the d+ath of Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, but now defending zoning as a sacred principle.
He, however, said the Southeast deserves “a sustainable and credible pathway to national leadership,” not “symbolic tokenism.”

Nigerian passport holders have very limited visa-free access in Asia. Even in China, to move from mainland to Hong Kong, you'd need a visa. This school holiday, my classmates from Ghana are in Philippines visa free. My guy from Somalia is in Malaysia visa free. My guy from Kenya is in Singapore visa free.

I got bit by a coral snake on Sunday. med flighted to the ER. Spent almost 3 days in the ICU & bout died lmfao. First pic is me holding it thinking it was a king snake. The rest are the affects. Still rocking nerve damage. But wild getting bit by the most venomous snake in the US
