8/ Increasing Market Share 🤝: The share of MPBC blocks currently fluctuates around 2% of mainnet blocks. This share has typically been trending up since the first MPBC block landed, but varies by market condition. The other main drivers are builders increasing contributions and operators improving performance which we expect to increase with time.

We want Ethereum to produce the highest grade blockspace. One requirement is providing end consumers predictable inclusion. Users should know when their transaction will be included in a block and what it will cost.
Quick Slots are a significant leap in this direction and something we strongly support. With this upgrade, your transaction is either included faster or given another opportunity faster.
Since blocks will have less time to reach the network, we also think Quick Slots should arrive with the performance engineering EIPs such as 8131, 8279, and 8334 provide to help keep the network at peak performance.

Two things I admire here: (1) chasing commercial upside without abandoning the nonprofit public good (Blockspace Forum) and (2) real skin in the game.
I'd love to see more nonprofit orgs pursue a north-star technical vision, self-funded through other sustainable means rather than relying on discretionary funding.
Ideally would also prefer to see the nonprofit side holding equity in the for-profit, so the for-profit stays accountable rather than being able to walk away at any time !
