I thought Iwata was superb today for #bcfc, bossed it in there and used the ball really well

City found guilty on 114/115 charges. Leeds spent big for CL, missed out, collapsed, relegated, 16 years in the wilderness. That’s the real sporting cost of financial failure. City’s punishment must be at least that severe or the rules mean nothing. @ManCity @LUFC @premierleague

Beadle has been brilliant so far this season, all keepers make mistakes just like outfield players. Solid start to the season, so many positives for #bcfc

Surely it’s better for #bcfc to keep the stadiums together with the transport infrastructure and move the training ground. Just expand Henley. Always a poor idea to have the training ground in the city centre even just from an air quality perspective!

CD is doing a nice job at #bcfc, but by golly if him and Amy Merricks were married they’d be no fun in their house at all FFS!

Birmingham fan in peace. So Eustace kept #dcfc up in first season, did great last season and is now struggling with injuries and some fans want to get rid!? Careful What you Wish for, took us 3 years to recover from sacking him

Well guys it will be a rough game for anybody judging by today. He certainly knows how to make it difficult, the new signings looked decent

Vicente and Miller look very good particularly away from home for #bcfc. #dcfc trying to make it a war but I think when it opens up in 2nd half #Birmingham will have too much for them

Now that #birminghamlive have put the player ratings behind a pay wall. Can somebody with IT knowledge create a site we can all go to and vote after each game where it shows the average ratings by player after each game for #bcfc

This #avfc midfield looks decidedly “championship” #bcfc

This time last year the #bcfc first team squad included Willumson, Anderson, Dykes, Cashin, Beilik, Doyle, non of which cut it in the top end of the Champ. Relax guys we’ve taken steps forward and KRO

Look much more solid defensively away from home this season when protecting something, bodes very well for #bcfc. We haven’t got enough excitement coming off the bench though and would be worried if Beadle, Solis or Vicente got injured

Iwata and Solis were great in midfield tonight, really bossed it, Wrexham never really able to get on top of us KRO #bcfc

Best half this season, round pegs in round holes look solid and threatening. Fair play to them and Davis, if we win this it will get our season started #bcfc

Watched Grimsby deservedly beat Man U this time last year, #bcfc looked totally lost tonight. Absolutely no excuse for that shambles, when we won this cup Championship Brentford should have knocked us out in early round!

Thought it was a good game today 2-2 between @bcfc and #bristolcity, draw was fair. Birmingham need more dynamism in the midfield three though and Priske can’t play lone role up front especially at home

Old fellas trying to scan all sorts of things to get into #bcfc today, first time we’ve forced the digital season ticket. Communication should have been better in this!

The best thing about that compared to last season, was when #bcfc were 1-0 with 10 mins to go away from home, it didn’t turn into the Alamo. Never looked in too much trouble in open play

I went to the Undefeated store in NYC, it was like the Boundary Sports place in Kings Heath! Come on you blue boys #bcfc

If Carlsberg made cup final opponents it would be Freiburg for #avfc, this is embarrassing. Sad how devalued these European fringe cups have become with the expansion of the Champions League! #bcfc
