John Arcudi genuinely amazing at writing BPRD, i generally love team books so it was a delight to see him able to craft so many varied dynamics between the various members of the BPRD (and how they all do develop as the series goes on, often not for the better!)

one thing i think Breaking Bad has over a lot of other TV is how it makes use of its setting and its extensive location shooting. the way it turns Albuquerque into this hyperreal pulp wonderland that’s still recognizably itself is one of the most original parts of the show
