Money has always been numbers on a screen to me. I could have $1M in crypto and gamble it all away in 30 minutes. But that same $1M in cash, right in front of me? I know I’d treat it differently. Somewhere along the way, I forgot those numbers were real money.
I’ve made costly mistakes, but I’m grateful for the lessons. Losing money teaches you its value and shows you how much of people’s respect was attached to it.
