Goose GDK from Spiral (Block’s non-profit R&D lab) is open source and now under the Linux Foundation’s Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF) for open standards. It’s a model-agnostic dev kit for local, interoperable agents via ACP/MCP protocols. Not built as a direct alternative to Hermes (Nous Research’s self-improving agent), but a complementary open framework for the ecosystem. Both advance accessible AI agents.
