This take has to stop man. “The suck at football” sure but there’s more than 1 sport on campus. How are Maryland’s lacrosse teams doing? What about men’s soccer and field hockey? From 15/16 - 24/25 Maryland had 24 Big Ten titles across sports. Stop thinking in only football.

I do think Maryland and Rutgers would be better served uniting leaving the Big Ten and uniting with a group of ACC teams including Boston College and Syracuse in the near future.

Did they show Bijan as the “Texas running back” on the ESPN feed or did I just get that from TSN?

Crazy what happens when there is very little independent media left covering the team.

Tom Wilson said Alex Ovechkin informally told his teammates he was retiring last week when they were in Annapolis. “Shockingly, we kept some stuff quiet from you guys (for) a week or so.”

Why I’ve stopped listening to this station: This is the only thing they’ve put out on social about Ovi. Literally everything else is Commanders. You have the greatest athlete in DC announcing his retirement and you can only muster up ONE tweet?

From the #Gr8:
My family and I decided this summer that this will be my final year in the NHL. I love this game so much, but I know in my heart it’s the right decision. It was important for me to make this announcement before our first home game, so I have the chance to thank all the people around the game, everyone who has been so important to me and my family and helped me through good times and tough losses. I wouldn’t have been able to achieve everything I have in my life without them. I am excited about this season with my teammates, and we will do everything we can to make this year special. I am going to enjoy every moment with my family, my boys, our fans and everyone who has been part of my hockey career. See you Wednesday, babes!

Haven’t watched a second (on vacation), but feels like this is at least the players saying “we haven’t given up on him yet.”

Were the Caps shorthanded a lot or something tonight?

Alex Ovechkin skated just 12:46 minutes tonight, the lowest ice time of his career in a game where he wasn’t ejected or injured.
