seem to have to restrict agents when their corpus is too large. A bitter lesson

I underestimated the positive impact that having sounds on for agent could have

Claude just seeded 'Bartholomew Featherstonehaugh-Montgomery III' as a name. Whatever you're building Bartholomew I hope it's legendary

We are excited to announce that World Labs is joining @AMD. The research and technical breakthroughs we have achieved since our founding in 2024 have given us a clear vision for AI’s potential to solve problems in the spatial and physical world. Accelerating the future of spatial and physical intelligence requires scaling our efforts, scaling our reach, and getting closer to the hardware.

Linus Torvalds says tracking down a bug in Linux's Intel GFX Driver was a "debug session from hell." The AI helping him repeatedly called it "impossible and unsolvable" and suggested they just write a report instead. He kept pushing. 24 debug patches and 18 kernel boots later he found the bug: one round_up() that should have been round_down(). He then let the AI write the commit message. git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux…

Stumbled on @NousResearch Lambda chat in fall 2024. Was crazy at the time with so little news about them, cool to see how far it's come.

this is such an interesting announcement, curious to see what Google does
Wow, seems like Google is buying Spirit Airlines' enterprise data for $10m (outbidding Mercor at $7.5m). Basically includes every internal document, email, workflow, and codebase for a once $6B company. Honestly, $10m for 34 years of operational data really seems like a steal.

Been using neet code to stay fresh on DSA and so my brain doesn’t rot. Doing a few problems a day in a structured manner has been good for maintaining an algorithmic problem solving ability. Good app @neetcode1 love it

Initially conversations were about decreasing value in horizontal sw, then challenges to maintain bespoke versions reversed the narrative. Could it be hollowed out to the point where horizontal sw isn’t necessary and data architecture can solve similar problems? Food 4 thought

this is what I have notived across vc funds. most are going vertical as horizontal has been thinned out.
When software was expensive - thin, horizontal, best-of-breed software stacks extracted rents across every business. Now that software is cheap - value moves to vertically integrated businesses that deliver opinionated end-to-end experiences.

been testing out a @conductor_build workflow where I use tmux in big window and run CC from there. One thing I wished it could do is on the workspaces sidebar have a little notificaton for when claude responds or asks a question. cc: @charlieholtz

And we do not stop at proofs: we also build an agentic pipeline that automatically formalizes all 4 commutative-algebra solutions in Lean 4 with one button click!
