I finished my costume for fanfest and tried everything on!! It’s been years since I made a real cosplay but I’m pretty happy with how it came out ☺️
I also haven’t cosplayed properly in Japan yet even though I’ve lived here for a long time. Idk I have been quite self conscious since moving here and after going through cancer treatment, but I love costumes so I really wanted to give it a try for fanfest 🥹💕

Just have details left for my FFXIV Fan Fest costume. I originally bought orange ribbon to use on the costume but I didn’t like how it looked so I decided to order orange fabric and use that. While waiting for the fabric to arrive I made a mockup of the new bow in pink!

I just checked the one I have and the seams do look a bit loose. I’m scared of any pulling on the fabric since it seems the material unravels itself easily. From these photos it looks like the seams probably weren’t serged inside due to the jacked being lined fully.
