Major Holochain Milestone.. 🎉
We've built our MVP for our decentralised authorisation system. All user data is written and stored to a Holochain DHT on the recently released Holo Hosting Edge Node.
Look how quick it is!! Almost instantly, it creates Holochain key pairs and returns the Agent ID.
Time to build out the product. Will test first on @YourOwnAI, then release.

I've been a Holochain fan since 2017(ish).
Today I started building with it. Edge Nodes and all.
It's pretty exciting.
To give you a large hint of what I'm building, it's worth saying that I've built an offline-first desktop version of @YourOwnAI
Got to the bit where it was time to connect the authentication function from our existing Google Firebase to add online services for those who want them.
It just didn't feel right to use Firebase auth anymore, even they it would have been easy to do so. When Google or the service decide they want to shut down an account, they just do it. Seeing one of my fav services, @ProtonPrivacy shut down accounts because a government asked them to, got me fired up to not take the status quo.
As this is at least one of the possibilities made possible by Holochain, I need it and I'm passionate about it, I'm building a censorship-resistant distributed identity service.
