Quality arm on the left side. Competes as well as anyone. Rotation type arm. Takes his craft serious and tremendous feel on the bump.

Tremendous person and player. Special kind of talent.

A father attended 87 of his son’s 91 baseball games over six years. His ex-wife attended 23. He had a dated photo from almost every game. At senior night, their son chose his mother to walk onto the field—and asked his father to stay in the bleachers. The father assumed his ex had turned the boy against him. His son took out his phone, searched their messages for “good game,” and showed him 79 results.

Battle Creek, When I became owner of the Battle Jacks, I made one promise: we would build more than a baseball team. We would build a community institution Battle Creek could be proud to call its own. This first full season under new management, we took a big step toward that vision. We welcomed record crowds to MCCU Field, grew attendance by 17%, welcomed thousands of first-time fans (+210% vs. 2025), and increased our community giving and fundraising by more than 150% as we expanded our impact across Battle Creek and Southwest Michigan. Those numbers are worth celebrating. But they only tell part of the story. The real measure of this season is in the families who made MCCU Field part of their summer. The kids who fell in love with baseball. The fans who gave us another chance. The neighbors who became friends. And the thousands of people who came together all summer long around something that is uniquely Battle Creek. We didn't get everything right. But we showed up, listened, learned, improved and kept moving forward. That is the standard we've set for ourselves and the culture we're building throughout this organization. To every fan, sponsor, host family, volunteer, employee, coach, player, intern, and community partner who believed in what we're building: thank you. You didn't just support a baseball team. You helped us build something that belongs to Battle Creek, serves Southwest Michigan, and continues to establish MCCU Field as the Home of Southwest Michigan Baseball. The scoreboard resets every spring. Our commitment to this community never does. The work on 2027 has already begun. We'll keep investing, keep improving, keep dreaming bigger, and keep showing up for Battle Creek and Southwest Michigan. Thank you for believing in us. Thank you for believing in this community. This is only the beginning. — Scott Miles Owner, Battle Creek Battle Jacks

Competitor, pitch ability is solid, fills up the zone. Will give you a chance every time the feet touch the rubber.

Plus plus foot speed. Gamer in the box, solid defender in all 3 OF spots, good upside on this kid.
