🐇Curious human đŸŽ„Creator of Cultured Boy & Hearts Unknown 📝Author of ‘Fish Out of Water’

Manhattan, NY
As an independent filmmaker- inspired by the works of Anthony Bourdain, I quit my day job and went to the Middle East to get a closer look at what’s actually happening within the Israel-Palestine conflict, from real humans. I funded the whole thing myself- and I was the full camera and editing crew. I didn’t get the entire story within a single film, but I think this captures something that is wildly missing from the conversation right now- and that is seeing the individual humans. I wanted to get past all the politics and arguing and just get to the human stories—the hearts of those living within this conflict. PS- I’m not Israeli or Palestinian. But I’ve met amazing people who are both and I’m genuinely curious about their lived experience—and what their hopes and dreams might be for the future. I’m streaming the entire documentary for free on YouTube. I’ll put the link in the first comment. Stay hungry. Stay curious.

What Grok said.
Genesis records a land promise to Abraham and his offspring as an everlasting possession, later specified through Isaac. Jewish and many Christian readings apply this to the Jewish people; Islamic traditions emphasize broader Abrahamic descent including via Ishmael. Interpretations differ, and not all base modern claims solely on scripture. History, law, and the presence of both peoples also factor in.

I wish I was in Israel today. ❀‍đŸ©č When pain is unbearable, we often drop one part of it in order to hold another. But pain deserves to be acknowledged, wherever it is. Love goes out to all Israelis. May our humanity have the capacity to hold all who need it. #October7

Zion is not a place. It lives within.

This.
I am deeply fascinated by people who can hold both : ● A brilliant mind and a soft heart. ● Deep inquiry and deep wonder. ● Ambition and surrender. ● Precision and mystery.

I’ve come to conclude that A.I. knows everything, yet understands nothing.

Great reminder from Uncle Mike. You can do what you want to do.
Mike Majlak gets DEEP with Clavicular explaining that anyone can TURN THEIR LIFE AROUND after he spent 10 years battling heroin addiction 😳

Also a great reminder.
If you get addicted to things easily, good, your problem is aim. Point that same obsession at a skill, your body, or your work for 2 years and people will start calling you "disciplined" instead.

Solid reminder.
Knowing your floor is the cheat code for reaching your ceiling. I could always get a job. That sentence has funded every risk I've taken.

People don’t have to share a religion—or even particularly like one another—to share a society. New York City is the experiment and it brings hope to all.

Interesting—this is Israel’s version (not the real NAZA film). But I think it’s only fair that I watch this, too.
A new Israeli documentary is setting the record straight. NAZA: The Real Story offers a firsthand account from senior IDF commanders and intelligence officers who were directly involved in the fight against Hamas in Gaza. Using combat footage, declassified materials, captured intelligence, and firsthand testimony, the documentary provides important context about how the war was fought and the challenges Israeli forces faced on the battlefield. Humans deserve life, dignity, and freedom. Regardless of the country or religion they happened to be born into.
