Using Cognito's not always in fashion but I've never used it for machine to machine auth. This pricing change might simply push developers to write their own JTW validation for these cases.

Crazy that someone else can run up your AWS bill simply by learning one of your S3 bucket names. Definitely a reason to have pseudo-random bucket names!

SQS FIFO Queues are just distributed locks. Far easier than managing the lock in DynamoDB or Redis or some other store, and you can use the MessageGroupID as a grouping mechanism.

I love it when I go to a conference session and learn something unexpected, even when it's a very small thing. I was attending @RayGesualdo's talk on the Navigation API last week at @ConnectTech and noticed an underscore in a javascript number. Something like doThing(5_000)...

At first I thought it was just a typo, then I thought better and did a quick Google on my iPhone. Turns out you can add underscores to numbers as visual separators to improve readability. Thanks @RayGesualdo!
