Like it just pisses me off bc not a single exchange between Caleb and mc was ever written for childhood friendship. Ever. It was all written for brother and sister. It will always continue to be. It's written for siblings in English as well. THE ONLY PARTS that get censored are the terms that explicitly state that it IS a sibling dynamic, "my caleb" and "childhood friend" takes the place of terms referencing their sibling bond explicitly in individual sentences. The bones of the dynamic is still sibling. They behave like siblings with each other. Even in English. They will always be WRITTEN AS SIBLINGS. That, I guarantee you is never going to change. They are never going to meaningfully change the way that dynamic is written to anything else. They can absolutely stop fucking censoring him because they only have to STOP CENSORING THE EXPLICIT PARTS. And they should because it's shameful to keep censoring him.
