Aaron shares why performing at an NYPD and FDNY memorial luncheon was the toughest gig of his career "So I was a comedian for a long time in New York City, and one of the gigs I eventually ended up being asked to do was for the New York City Police and Fire Department called the Line of Duty Luncheon." "These were for family members—children, wives, husbands, parents—of firefighters and police officers who were killed in the line of duty." "The person that ran it was a close family friend named Frank Bowles, who actually saved my father's life when he was a hostage in New York City back in 1975 in a bank. So when the guy who saves your father's life asks you to come on and do some comedy on his event, you really can't say no." "However, what Detective Bowles maybe didn't realize was that that's a horrible place to have a comedian."  🎙: [@hamieverse]
