I went to visit my friend Michael Keale (Keyalley) last night at Happy Talk, Hanalei. Michael is 1st cousin to Izzy (somewhere over the rainbow). This morning at breakfast we were treated to this rainbow. Michael sang Waimanalo Blues for us.

He had hundreds of these stampers built. They crushed the ore 24/7.
He owned two of the mines.
We visited a mine, and it was unbelievable the conditions they were working in.

This was the sea lion that chased me on the beach nr Dunedin. My shorts slipped down to my ankles whilst running as fast as I could go. I had no time to bend down so had to run even faster taking very short steps. I tried to rest but the beast kept coming. I managed to get off the beach.
