The tiger was doing what tigers do. It’s in his nature to attack, which is why the zoo should have had a tranq gun at the ready at all times.
The tiger doesn’t deserve to die, and euthanasia isn’t the right call.
The man who jumped inside the enclosure shouldn’t have died either.

In a world swimming with buzzwords, deeply flawed leaders, and a resulting despair, I feel like we could all use a little beauty and hope. For me, it’s not just about the art—although art is a lofty goal. I share them in hopes of giving one single person a breath of fresh air. If even one person feels their burden lightened by an image, I’ve reached my goal.

We took a road trip to Colorado and Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve was our first stop in Colorado.
The dune field covers over 30 square miles, with dunes reaching up to 750 feet (the tallest in North America).

My flight was overbooked by three seats.
The gate agent offered $1,200 in travel credit to anyone willing to take the next flight.
I volunteered immediately.
I wasn’t in a rush.
I figured $1,200 was $1,200.
They put me on a flight four hours later.
I grabbed food and waited.
Then I checked the airline app.
