Few things I've learnt from helping people try to get Grand Final tickets on X:
95% of the accounts DMing you are scammers. Always ask for proof of the tickets first and check the details properly.
If you do go ahead, use PayPal Goods & Services so you've got buyer protection if things go to shit. Don't use PayPal Friends & Family, bank transfer or crypto.
Check their account history, followers, previous posts and whether they've sold tickets before. A few people have told me they've got GF tickets for sale but don't even follow anything NRL-related. That's a massive red flag
If they're rushing you, won't give proper proof, or the price seems too good to be true, walk away.
Be careful out there. There are a lot of scammers taking advantage of people desperate to get to the GF.
There are some legitimate ones out there but way more scammers.
