Going through cards and this caught my eye (because I was at the game)
Instead of using a Reds picture (which there are tons of them out there)…
Topps photoshopped a Reds jersey onto the picture of Mariners Eugenio Suarez hitting the grand slam against the Blue Jays in game 5 of the ALCS last year.
One of the biggest home runs in Seattle Mariners history and Topps decided it should be a Reds card 😭😭

Whenever I find a card that’s either cool looking, nostalgic, or funny, I put it aside in a binder.
I was going through that binder again and I found this griffey (I bought it for $10 in 2020 or 2021).
Well, I just looked it up, and now it’s selling for over $1,000!
I guess the lesson here is keep your cool looking cards. If they go up in value then great. If they never go up in value you still have cool looking cards.
