Creators, how do you use TTS models in your drama videos? For example, do you generate the audio using TTS and then use a lip-sync generator to apply it? If so, are you able to control the voice's pacing? I know it's possible to attach a speech audio file for Seedance 2.5 to use (i do that); however, since the model regenerates the voice rather than simply playing the audio directly, this doesn't prevent pronunciation errors, which happen frequently with Brazilian Portuguese

After more than a year and a half of expanding the story, I’ve launched my first series set in the *Serra Sombria* (Shadowy Ridge) universe, with the premiere of Episode 1! For those who don't know, my setting blends Brazilian *sertão* (backlands) folklore horror, witchcraft, action, and humor. This series follows two content creators, owners of the channel "Falecida Charada" (The Late Riddle), who consider themselves "investigators" of horror-related events. I created the first episode using Seedance 2.5 via @pippitofficial , as shown in the attached creation breakdown. It was a lot of fun! The total production time for this episode was approximately 4 hours. #PippitAI #PippitPartner #PippitCPP #PippitStorytelling

Professional projects like this deserve to be seen, as they demonstrate the seriousness with which artificial intelligence can revolutionize the entertainment industry
Backrooms Nemoris S1E01: It Eats Light I've spent the last six months working in secret on this pilot episode for a new Backrooms canon. We premiered this week in Toronto and a it's now available on all platforms: a new Magnific Originals series! This is quite possibly the most complex project I've ever taken on in my life. Yep, even if that sounds like an exaggeration, it took even more effort than building the first version of Magnific Upscaler. I had never before tried to bring such a concrete, specific vision to the screen while pushing the current state of the art as far as possible. Every scene you see in this episode, every object, every movement of a character's hands, every space, every hum of the fluorescent lights... it's all there for a very specific reason, with absolute control and intention on my part. I never imagined that something that looks so simple on the surface could be so incredibly complicated. The script is my own, based on the original Backrooms concept (the iconic 4chan image) but developed to create an entirely new canon from scratch. In this first episode, I reveal barely more around 5% of the overall puzzle, so you may end up thinking: what the f*ck did I just watch? Or you may need multiple viewings to pick up on some extra clues, because several of them are genuinely hidden. The idea is to create a full 10 episode series, an anthology, and have you, the viewers, gradually piece together the puzzle yourselves as the clues are revealed. Beyond the video and image generations, I did all of the editing in DaVinci Resolve, with particular attention to the sound. I'd say around 60% of the time I spent on this project went into sound. In some scenes, there are more than 13 stereo tracks layered at the same time, using sounds I recorded myself or created and edited from generations and foley libraries. Every sound, every voice, and every gasp is designed to pull you into the world of the story and make you feel like you're actually there. That meant spending an enormous amount of time on sound design, thinking about things like the individual position of each sound in space, EQ, reverb to simulate different environments, the sense of immersion, etc. I've never learned so much about something so quickly. As for the generations, a few numbers: • 12 hours of total generated video for 17 minutes of final footage 🤯 • More than 7,000 generations in total. • An average of around 60 generations for every 15 seconds of final footage. • 6 months of work, including many weekends, with just one person behind the whole thing... I almost lost my mind. • Platform: Magnific, of course. Models: mainly Seedance 2.0 and 2.5 for video generations, and Nano Banana Pro and Seedream 5 for image references. • Approximately $20,000 in total token costs, not including the value of my own time. For the next episodes, I can't do this alone again or I'll go crazy. My plan is to put together a small team: voice actors, a colorist, 3D VFX artists, a sound designer, and, in general, people from the traditional film industry who can help us professionalize our pipeline and take this story to another level. If you're reading this and you think you might be interested, please leave a comment. Ah! If you have any technical questions about how this was made, I'd be happy to answer them. Feel free to ask me anything you like! Anyway, I'll leave you with the episode. For the love of everything holy: please watch it at home, relaxed, on a big screen, with a good sound system or a quality pair of headphones, the lights off, and some popcorn. And most importantly, enjoy. Nemus te reddat!

When Monday rolls around, the GPT chat becomes extremely sluggish, erratic, full of disconnected tools, and even makes grammatical mistakes. A drop in IQ to ease the load? It really tested my patience today. I honestly feel that using Astra is no different from using any model released in the last year

One thing that annoys me when using GPT's work features is how often it disconnects from its own tools. I’ll be working on a document with multiple versions, and when it comes time to update it, it simply says "I am disconnected from the tool for updating the current one."

For those wondering what I meant when I said that "successfully transitioning into an agency" with the launch of Seedance 2.5 changed my life: I spent the last year of my life making videos practically every day with no financial return—driven solely by the hope that it would eventually lead to something. Creating videos attracts an audience and followers; it grabs attention. But here’s a crucial point: not every type of video yields the same results. For instance, if I had bet on making videos of animals dancing to random songs, I might have reached an audience ten times larger. I have nothing against those videos—I love them. But unfortunately, they never would have opened the doors that cinematic storytelling—specifically videos over a minute long—did for me. Back when I was using VEO 2, my videos were interesting, but they didn't quite promise something "incredible." They were just... cool, let's say. That remained the case through several subsequent models (VEO 3, Kling 2.5, Grok Video, Minimax H2.3, etc.). When Seedance 2.0 launched, and my output started looking *truly* cinematic—short, action-packed stories that mimicked big-budget productions—I noticed that my reach didn't just grow; it generated genuine interest. People wanted to know if they could get that "cinematic" look for their own ideas. Since it’s not easy to pull off (anyone working with AI video knows it’s not just a matter of entering a prompt and having it magically work out), many people prefer to commission the video instead. With Seedance 2.5, this reached a peak: serious commissions for larger-scale projects. What I do—creating, applying my own style, and leveraging my experience—evolved into something of exceptional quality. It was the result of thousands of hours of unwavering effort combined with an incredible tool. I lived (and in a way, still live) a simple life, working a manual labor job. It is these AI-driven opportunities that have started to change this, and I truly hope—with great faith—that this becomes my new normal: being able to work (and be well-rewarded) doing what I love—storytelling. Never give up.
