What a fabulous interview, and so good to see the legend Phil Collins looking so well. Give it a watch, it's great. Thanks, Piers.

What are you doing to fix the problems we ALL have ..fuel costs, food costs, energy cost. Sod all, I suppose!
You know that feeling when you book a flight for 50 quid and somehow it ends up costing 100? Getting seats together, correcting a typo, another charge here and there, it all adds up. When the cost of living is already squeezing people, those endless extras can feel relentless. So we're changing the rules for you. Parents won't need to pay a penny extra just to sit next to their own children. You'll be able to fix any name errors on your booking free of charge. And because the last thing you want once you're on the plane is more stress, we're working with the industry to make sure that disruptive passengers who have been banned from one airline can be banned from flying with other airlines too. I know holidays are expensive and these are small things, but hopefully they'll make your trip just that little bit cheaper and easier. That's exactly the kind of thing I want this government to keep on fixing.

Could you apply for the job of PM please.
I am often asked what my priority would be if I was the prime minister. 1. Build 5 large modern day prisons. 2. While the prisons are under construction I would recruit 10,000 police and place them through a detailed training program to make their jobs recognised professionals. 3. While the prisons are being built.Recruit prison officers and make and pay them into respected professionals. 4. I would find the money by cutting back on military expenditure. In fact I would offer soldiers to apply for police or prison officer jobs. 5. My understanding of asylum seekers is that if they are trying to leave an oppressed county where they are in danger, they are supposed to go to nearest safe county. The people arriving on the shores of the UK have passed through plenty of safe countries. I would ask the Royal Navy to stop them arriving. Comments please . No jokers thanks Lord Sugar

Wine o'clock, Piers?
Just watched the speech in full. One of the best, and most powerfully delivered, by a British politician in a very long time. If he can deliver on his passion and promises, Burnham could be a transformative Prime Minister. But it’s a big ‘if’ …

She was fearless, savage and never apologized for a joke. She roasted everyone including herself 😉🤣 What’s your favorite Joan Rivers moment?

Fuck off - traitor!
This Government will reopen the UK Resettlement Route in partnership with the United Nations. We will take vulnerable refugees from camps across the world and give them the chance of a new and better life here in Britain. With the first arrivals beginning this year.

So the "British nationals" have been thoroughly investigated, interviewed, houses searched, and released om bail in 24 hours and we're meant to believe this is an " Iranian lead terror attack" Rightio, and I'm a super model in my 20s 🙄

I'd quite believe this to be true. Nothing is as it seems these days. They just gaslight people into thinking everything is a conspiracy - it's all hiding in plain sight
That Farmer wasn’t meant to see them was she. I’ll put my cards on the table now and suggest the government knew they were IRGC, they knew what they were about to do and they were going to allow it to happen so they could blame Russia and have their war with them. But the farmer saw everything and fucked up their plans. That’s my theory anyway.

Geri Halliwell thinks she's Mary Poppins these days. Silly cow
Geri Halliwell has apologised for her iconic Union Jack dress, claiming she ‘wasn’t aware of Britain’s colonial past’ when she wore it to the 1997 BRIT Awards. The former Spice Girl said the outfit was meant to celebrate the country, but she now realises the flag carries ‘problematic historical links’ and is sorry for any offence caused
Community note
This claim appears fabricated. Halliwell has described the dress as a spontaneous patriotic choice, and no credible report shows her apologizing for it. vogue.com/article/ginger… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Union_Jac…

See, farmers are vital. Food security and national security 🇬🇧
🚨NEW: The Telegraph reports a local farmer near RAF Fairford, driving home from a party in the early hours, came across three seemingly abandoned white vans blocking a quiet country road. Confused, she turned her car around. As she did so, she saw a group of masked men in balaclavas scattering into the trees and across the fields towards RAF Fairford. She then accelerated away and called the police

I hope those leaving their homes don't have them seized! Be a bit naughty of you, but not surprising!
I know today's incident near RAF Fairford will be deeply concerning for local residents and for many people following developments across the country. My thanks go to Gloucestershire Police, Counter Terrorism Policing, our Armed Forces and all those working to keep the public safe. I am especially grateful to those residents who have been asked to leave their homes while precautionary checks are carried out. The safety and security of the public is our first priority, and I want people to know that we will always take every step necessary to protect our communities and keep our country safe. The investigation remains ongoing, and I would urge people not to speculate while the authorities establish the full facts.

Stupid woman
I said it in 2020 and I’ll say it again. If you leave a home empty long-term in the middle of a housing crisis, it should be seized. Today’s announcement is great news.
