This shit makes me cry way more than sad videos or movies and shit. There is nothing on earth like feeling your parents pain and seeing the relief in their eyes when you can finally help them after so long.

I know I caused my dad a lot of pain. However, in 1985 my mom died, ALS, paralyzed, and my dad and I joined as a team to care for her. I saw the real man my father was. Heroically self-sacrificing and loving. We became best friends then. I was hitting 50 & got a best friend!
