Going to do my best to share helpful updates about how to get the most from the Claude Platform: APIs, SDKs, the ant CLI and more. If you have any feedback about existing API features you’d love to see, I’m all ears! Pumped to be back in a position where there’s so much I’m excited to use and hype.

Play chess against Claude Code while you work I made this Mod that lets you play chess against Claude while your session keeps running It opens a sidebar with the board, and you can make moves by typing them or clicking with your mouse. Every Claude move shows how many tokens it used, with the full move history recorded. Install it with one command: npx claude-code-templates@latest --mod games/chess Everything is open source: github.com/davila7/claude-co… Enjoy the weekend building and playing chess with Claude!

New Claude Code Mod… it keeps getting more hackable and customizable This Mod lets you see every subagent running in your session You won’t lose track of them anymore... they stay visible in the sidebar, where you can review what each one has done and how much context it has used Install it with one command: npx claude-code-templates@latest --mod ui/agent-flow Link: aitmpl.com/component/mod/ui/…

To celebrate the new plugin submission flow, I had Claude build a few plugins and walk us through the process. 🧵 I think a lot of folks are familiar with plugins in Claude Code, but you can now share your plugins for all Claude apps.
It’s now easier to build plugins for Claude. We built a new portal to submit your plugin, track review, and see usage. Plugins package MCP and skills, and are becoming the way to build for Claude. MCP usage across Claude products is up 110x this year! claude.com/blog/build-plugin…

Here's a tidy little plugin you might ship for devs to write release notes based on commits. Then use the plugin from Claude Code.

If you submitted a plugin or MCP server to the directory in the past and it wasn't published, go check the directory submissions page to see the new flow: claude.ai/directory/manage

We've added inline tool definitions to the Claude API! Editing the top-level `tools` array mid-conversation changes the prefix so thinking blocks are ignored with preserved thinking which is enabled for new models. Add full tools mid-conv instead:

Also in beta: MCP tool-list pinning. An MCP server can change its tools between turns. Responses now start with an `mcp_tool_listing` block. Send it back unchanged or copy it into the toolset's `tools` field to pin it.

> This seems compelling, but I don't know much about formal verification. Read Boris's tweet and create a video explaining the concept.
I used Opus 5.5 to formally verify the Claude Agent SDK using Lean. A couple short prompts = 16 PRs fixing various bugs and race conditions. Video attached. TLA+ also works well. I sometimes combine Lean and TLA+ to look for issues around data flow, concurrency, and state mgmt. I don't know either language well, but Claude is excellent at both. This approach is super useful for formally modeling your code and finding bugs that a human probably wouldn't have spotted. Is formal verification the future of coding (or at least, bug finding)?

Claude Opus 5.5 drew each frame of this animation in JavaScript. Here's "how browsers work" in 40 seconds.

🤩 one shot Opus 5.5. My kids are massive fans of geometry dash style games like this. Especially paired with a banger background track.
I typed one prompt into Claude Opus 5.5. 27 minutes later, this game was playable. 1,087 lines of code. I didn't write a single one. The exact prompt is in the video. What should one prompt build next? #vibecoding

We’re also launching Claude Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 in the coming weeks. These models will come with many of the same improvements to performance, efficiency, and safety. With that, happy building everyone.

This looks like a video of the Golden Gate Bridge, but it's actually entirely generated using code by @claudeai Opus 5.5. From my testing, I think Opus is just as good at building 3D scenes as Astra. 📌 Watch my latest video to see how Opus and Astra compare on this scene and more: piped.video/UhBqorWNwlU
With Opus 5.5, I think @claudeai is finally back. Here’s my new video with my honest take and live demos on: → Can Opus rival Astra at building 3D scenes like the Golden Gate Bridge? → How does Opus handle computer use, UX design, and video editing? → Does it finally feel good to talk to again? This is the most excited I’ve been about Opus since 4.6. Watch my video to understand why: piped.video/UhBqorWNwlU
