I didn’t ghost X. Life happened. An accident forced me offline, then I got logged out of my account. Thanks to @Emmakun985 I finally got back in ❤️ Now I feel like I entered a completely different X. 😂 I’ve missed SO much. What did I miss?

You see that statement we make whenever we lose an opportunity: “If it’s for me, it will come,” or “God will do another.” I’m sorry to tell you this, but nothing might eventually come. You may have lost that opportunity because of your carelessness, lack of seriousness, or lack of commitment, yet you comfort yourself with that belief. Lack of commitment, ignorance, and indiscipline will amount to nothing but constant failure, unachieved goals, and disappointment. Not every opportunity you lose will come back. Sometimes, you have to take responsibility for your actions, learn from your mistakes, and do better. Destroy that mindset. It’s for your own good.

And then they call it self-respect, giving their attitude the best name they can possibly give it. They make communication seem difficult, as if humans are now incapable of understanding words or statements. They make it seem as if disappearing and shutting people off is growth, when meanwhile, it’s just another way of turning communication off. We really need to do better, honestly.
Nobody apologizes anymore, They just disappear and call it moving on. Accountability died somewhere between pride and ego. People would rather lose someone than admit they were wrong. We've normalized walking away instead of working through it. Communication became optional, ghosting became the standard response to discomfort. Even closure isn't guaranteed anymore, people just leave you with questions and call it self care. Growth without honesty isn't growth, it's just avoidance wearing a better outfit.

I keep rushing through a site I find intriguing, not knowing what I'll get this time. With the large multitude running through and yet the process to shop seems effortless and takes no time. I think I want to quit now... But the flashing things I see keeps drawing and calling my name and I just can't help myself. it's crazy how diamonds and silver become extremely affordable here where others pay millions just to possess them. I keep clicking and clicking and oh...God I want more!! If this was an addiction and I was made to go to the psychiatric hospital I guess I'll be locked up completely. But you can refer to this as my withdrawal syndrome. Some call it the cheapest app of all time. Others refer to it as Temu But I call it "my little orange fairy godmother." I guess it's safe to say we all LOVE TEMU. #poem #trending @shoptemu

This one really got me. I’ve definitely caught myself doing some of these. Sometimes we wait until we feel “ready” before we start showing up, forgetting that the process of learning is also part of the content. Really, we don’t have to know everything. Just share what you’re learning, what you’re building, and what you genuinely think. People can’t remember what they never get to see.
These are some mistakes creators make that really hurt their brands without them realizing it:  → Staying silent because you think you need to know more before sharing. → Overthinking every post because you’re afraid of saying the wrong thing. → Changing what you talk about because you haven’t seen results yet. → Consuming other people’s content without sharing your own ideas. → Waiting until everything looks perfect before putting yourself out there. Being good at what you do doesn’t help much if nobody knows what you can do. Give people a chance to see your ideas, your work, and how you think. That’s how they start to remember you.

Nobody is coming to save you financially. Learn the skill. Do the work. Make the money. Invest it. Repeat. Your future self will thank you for every uncomfortable step you took to become financially free. Happy Saturday

Class 2: What's Blockchain and Smart Contract. Let’s go back a little. Remember DeFi? Financial applications built on top of Blockchain. And I said we can’t really talk about DeFi without mentioning Blockchain & Smart Contracts right? Calm down Nkechi 😂 We’ll get there. We just started. So, what’s Blockchain? Break the word: Block + Chain. A BLOCK is a container for data, while a CHAIN is a series of connected links. Let's put them together. Blockchain a chain of blocks containing information, like transactions. You can also think of it as a decentralized network of computers working together to maintain the same record and reach consensus.

2. P2P Network Okay, this one sounds more complicated than it actually is. P2P = Peer-to-Peer. Break it again. Peer = an equal participant. Peer-to-peer = participants communicating directly with each other. Think about WhatsApp. You send a message to your friend. You don't have to call some random person and say: “Please, tell Nkechi I said hello.” You're communicating directly. That's the basic idea behind P2P. In a blockchain network, computers called nodes communicate with one another instead of everything depending on one central authority. And now… We've finally reached the part I told you we'd get to.

Smart Contracts. Let's break the words again. Smart. Something that can follow instructions and make things happen automatically. Contract. An agreement with rules about what should happen. Put them together: Smart contract = computer code programmed to automatically execute certain rules or instructions. For example: IF you send 1 ETH then the smart contract sends you a particular token. No human has to sit there pressing a button every time. If the conditions programmed into the contract are met, the code executes the programmed action. And before you start thinking… “Wow, so this contract is actually smart?” Nooo. It isn't intelligent like other AI apps. It's “smart” because it can automatically execute instructions. And it's not really a contract in the same way a lawyer's contract is. It's code deployed on a blockchain. So now you can start seeing the connection: Blockchain → where information and transactions can be recorded. P2P network → how computers on the network communicate with one another. Consensus → how the network agrees on what should be accepted. Smart contracts → code that can automatically execute rules on a blockchain. And guess what sits on top of all of this? Yeah you know.... DeFi. But we're not going there today. Let's take a break here. Hopefully you've learnt a lot. Or maybe just a little. Either way, that's fine. As usual, these are my little notes for you, just in case you couldn't go through everything. Go through them at your own pace. I'll see you in my next class. Enjoy😊

AI automation. I used to genuinely think people getting into AI automation were trying to ruin the future because of the whole “AI will take over” narrative. Then I started my class and… oh boy, I was completely wrong. 😂 Learning how AI can actually be used to solve problems, automate repetitive work and create better systems completely changed how I see it. Sometimes you really just need to learn something before forming a strong opinion about it.
What’s one Web3 opinion you changed your mind about? Not because someone shouted louder. Because you learned something that made your old position impossible to defend. Those are usually the most interesting conversations.
