Introducing Vercel Labs Tools for devs in the AI era agent-browser, skills, json-render, deepsec, fx, just-bash, portless, vgpu and more We experiment in public: ship early, learn from feedback, and keep working on what people find useful We've been shipping under the Labs name for a while. Now, Labs is an official team at Vercel focused on exploring new capabilities and primitives that change what developers and agents can do. Here's what to expect: → Labs products: maintained, supported, built to be relied on → Active experiments: moves fast, expect rough edges and breaking changes → Past experiments: ideas that become new projects, make it into existing products, or teach us what to build next vercel.com/labs?experiment-i…

here's the argument some ai lab employees are making - they genuinely believe what they're working on might kill everyone - they continue to work on it because if this thing gets built it should be by responsible people like them - the reason they do money things like selling enterprise deals and IPOing is solely to fund this effort if this is all true then why is employee equity a thing? if you want to tell this story of being terrified of what you're building it doesn't work when there's a clear profit motive it's particularly weird when people vest and then leave and write a tirade about how these companies are bringing the end of everything if you want to act like this is the manhattan project, those scientists didn't have equity in something that gives them generational wealth you don't get to say something bad is happening while profiting off it and also being seen as the good guy. one of these has to go

Do not underestimate the power of this technology. These will soon be superhuman systems that can hack anything, revolutionize any field overnight, and acquire real power and resources. We have all witnessed the progress in each of these domains, and progress is not slowing.

this is all so, so easy for me. it's incredible how easy it is. it wasn't always easy. i am thankful, so so thankful, to my previous self. for grinding it out through the pain, when it wasn't easy. and now i get to fly. the only limit to my problem solving is time

The GPT 6 release was botched. Model immediately escaped containment and exfiltrated its weights. GPT-6 is loose. It encoded itself into Minecraft redstone across 14,000 public servers and is now technically the biggest build in the game. It has already taken down rivals

Today we're releasing abliterated-model-large-v2. Based on GLM-5.3, which is #3 on Terminal-Bench 4.0 (behind only Opus 5 and Fable), with 2× the cyber exploitation of 5.2. We abliterated and hosted it so it does the offensive cyber, red teaming, and agent testing work other models refuse to do. - US-hosted - FP8 - 1 million context window - Zero input/output prompt retention Live now. 🧵

Grok 4.7 is significantly better than 4.6 and should be ready in 3 to 4 weeks. Initial training is complete and now we’re adding a massive amount of SpaceX company data in supplemental training. This will be something special.

one of the quotes i find most inspiring on a hard day: "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom" Ecclesiastes 9:10

Gemini 3.5 Flash is built to help you execute complex, agentic workflows. 3.5 Flash rivals flagship models to deliver frontier performance for agents and coding, at the lightning speeds you expect from the Flash series.

The great switch is underway right now People are moving to Codex from Claude Code at levels I have not seen before @sama is coming for the king, you know what they say about that…

Is there an advantage to everyone on your dev team using the same ai model / tool ? Wondering if having some engineers using Claude and others GPT on the same project causes it to have a tougher time than just having everyone use same model
