i’m reading norman jewison’s autobiography and this particular passage written in 2004 was so interesting to me. fascinating that he felt the same stuff in the 1950s that me and my peers complain about today.

Having met Norman a few times (I went to the CFC just as he published his book) he was always talking about the need to get your stuff seen - the allure of more eyeballs (and eager ones).
