Honestly, I’m quite disappointed with this nomination system. @zaddrnet I liked the idea of becoming eligible through community nominations, but now some people are using it to sell nominations for $100-$200+. Once someone becomes eligible, they can nominate another person and make them eligible too. Now that eligibility is being turned into something people can simply buy. I really don't think this is healthy for the project or the community. @zaddrnet I genuinely hope you reconsider this system or put some limits on nominations. Otherwise, it creates a situation where money matters more than genuine community contribution. Just sharing my honest feedback because I actually want to see the project grow in a better direction.
