The world is burning so OMFG why do I even have the idea of a thought about some future sports event halftime show performed by multi-millionaire Shawn Carter?!?

Putting mixtape type verses on every song with no concepts & calling it a "album" is wild

Knowing what I know about hip hop now would’ve destroyed me as a youth.

There are certain artists who are so good and so consistent that when I listen to them, I can't believe they aren't talked about more regularly and by more people. Right up there on that list: Oddisee.

Add to the fact that Leo Nocentelli of The Meters plays on a few tracks.
Ridin Dirty is given so much praise (& rightfully so) that '94's Super Tight is hardly mentioned. Production from Pimp & DJ DMD, really shows off the experimentation & growth from their debut. Lyrics & topics took a big step forward. And Mr.3-2 is on here, so that's a bonus.

It can only be called a riot if it’s from France’s Riôt region, otherwise it’s sparkling social discontent.
