The industry got very good at process. faster schedules, tighter operations, lower cost per foot. None of it changes how much oil actually comes out of the ground. Most of what's down there stays down there. The thing that moves that number isn't process, it's engineering. How the well is stimulated, how the design matches the rock, the calls made before anyone starts pumping. Aramco told European term refiners their October allocation is zero after a drone attack knocked out EastWest pipeline pumping stations, and replacement barrels are not cheap.
