Dalek Technician - Running Wild Delighted to officially introduce one of the oldest variants I'd ever made all the way back from 2013! Later it went on to cameo in The War Games in Colour thanks to the superb colourists inspired by my art. #DoctorWho #Daleks #Dalek #BigFinish

Here’s a cleanup and colourisation of one of my favourite studio shots from #DoctorWho and the Reign of Terror. Sixteen years before ‘Logopolis’, the TARDIS police box prop sits inside the TARDIS control room set in Lime Grove Studio G on Friday 10th July 1964 for ‘A Land of Fear’. If I remember right, the space available in the narrow Studio G at Lime Grove meant that the TARDIS’ arrival in the forest set was pre-taped in the afternoon. The prop was then shifted out of the studio (which I presume is why it’s sitting in the control room here, waiting for some burly BBC men to roll it away). During the main evening taping, the flat police box ‘porch’ built for the pilot was used for the shot of Dr Who locking the doors, saving them a couple of feet of valuable space. The control room set is still under construction here - the scanner is missing the TV monitor, they haven’t finished laying the metal floor plates, and by the evening session they’d removed the wooden column and the Westminster Abbey clock, and shifted the armillary sphere onto the eagle plinth. I realise these are all vital details that you definitely couldn’t live without knowing 😇

So hey, this end of the year is expensive, but we can help each other out: you buy things and i can pay my bills, and i don't charge pro rates so you can get something nice to gift and still eat starts as low as 10 bucks for a chibi (see below for general price thing)

I sneaked a tape recorder into the studio sessions for Stones of Blood in 1978 and witnessed that scene being recorded. Here's how it sounded live. John Leeson's K9 voice was louder, over the studio speakers... pastewaves.com/player/3b0ca3…

Everyone at Big Finish is very sad to learn of the death of John Leeson earlier today. Our condolences go out to his family and friends. He will be sorely missed by us all. A full tribute will be published later this week.

It's.. interesting. The main distracting feature is the red teeth, that really bothers me. And while the skin tones are largely passable the environment and colour lighting is non existant.
Absolutely fantastic upscale and colourisation. The future is very bright! What can we do? youtu.be/2D-mrppNV3s?si=Ke4T… via @YouTube

Most X-Wing pilot and pilot Luke merchandise and artwork is unfortunately pretty inaccurate, as they use these photos as reference. These were not taken during ANH, probably around the time of the Holiday Special, with Luke's costume being damaged and incorrectly dressed. (1/9)

Evening all. Here’s a new photo restoration and colourisation from #DoctorWho and the Massacre (of St Bartholomew’s Eve, if you must). David Weston as Nicholas and Peter Purves as Steven outside Charles Preslin’s apothecary - sorry, apotheKary, according to the sign painter - in Riverside Studio 1 on Friday 28th January 1966 during camera rehearsals for Episode 2, ‘The Sea Beggar’.

Classic digibeta channel condition.
Poderiam corrigir?

I did this a few years back but here's another go: Rescoring this scene from The Daleks Invasion of Earth with 60s contemporary stock music (a couple of visual edits)

Gonna say it louder for people at the back - Death to the Daleks episode 1 is the most perfect episode of Doctor Who. The entire thing is just aesthetically and thematically perfect.
