The Nolan Traoré bulk-up is real. The difference between last year’s #Nets Media Day and this year’s is striking. Chaney Johnson told me on The Brooklyn Boys Show this summer that Traoré has added strength. It could be a huge asset as he looks to make a Year 2 leap.

Geno Smith was one of the NFL’s best deep passers in Seattle, but struggled there last season. Against Detroit, he went 5-of-6 for 143 yards and two TDs on those throws (20+ yards). If he can bring that part of his game back, it’d be huge for the #Jets.

Garrett Wilson and Kenyon Sadiq both topped 100 yards and scored Sunday. The #Jets hadn’t had two players do that in the same game since Wilson and Allen Lazard in 2024. Sadiq’s 105 yards were also the most by a Jets TE since Ryan Griffin in 2019.

Here’s how I look at this #Jets loss: • Last week was frustrating because the Jets should’ve won. They had every opportunity, and the coaching decisions cost them. • Today hurts differently. Detroit is the better team. That’s exactly why last week mattered so much: 2-1 heading into Chicago feels a lot different than 1-2. • Sadiq looks like a beast. Garrett keeps making plays when he has a QB who can get him the ball. And Geno did everything he could today; this might be his best game of the year. Two heartbreakers, but for very different reasons.
