I will never understand: we have barcodes and mobile phones that can read barcodes. Why do I need to type in or wait until someone types in my information manually when checking in to hotels or buying other services. Aren’t we that advanced yet?

Meta (Instagram) requires to mark AI generated content. “We will punish you if you won’t” So what is the punishment? Threats on main page but consequences perhaps exist somewhere else? Too bad you didn’t read them if punishment is death sentence.
