Wow, @coolifyio, what an incredible tool! It's a one-line installer, and everything is under an intuitive UI. It has a lot of features for managing the remote. Really a great job by the team! I'm exploring it more!

The team is free to be as creative, as flexible, as pushy, or as relaxed as they want to be while having full control over their work!
The only condition is doing right by the users, and I think we are!

A few people got nervous about the number of releases (fixes) we do for @coolifyio in the past weeks, and I would like to address it as simple as possible.
My focus was scattered across several things in the summer (but maybe even more than that), due to personal & social (ai takes our job), etc.
This is a general thing nowadays between devs, entrepreneurs, etc. We are in this mess together.
So I decided to focus 90-95% of my time on the one thing that matters, Coolify. And ask my team to help me initially for a few weeks then they can focus on other projects.
Plus made a new, simplified and quicker way to release new versions, especially fixes. (also for features, but they are a bit slower ofc, as we need to take care almost 500k self-hosted instances and almost 4k cloud users).

You can already build your apps locally and have Coolify deploy them without rebuilding. This is also how @shadowarcanist deploys most of their apps using Coolify.
Simply build the Docker image locally, push it to any container registry, and then tell Coolify to use that image for your application/service.
Can you support local building like @openshipio ? I mean the ability build at home before each commit push

Got an old laptop or PC sitting around? Don’t throw it away.
Connect it to Coolify and put that hardware to work. Deploy the things you need without paying for another server.
I use @coolifyio , and I made my spare laptop into a build server. Cost me zero money, no need of paying for a build server and its super fast (Its 4 core 16GB Ram)! @grok Can you build locally in Vercel as well?

Most of the core UI work was done by @shadowarcanist and AI.
Then we spent a week to fix all the small details.
(there could be small UI bugs that will be squashed.)
God I love my team!
Also we realized that our current git / release flow was not optimal.
So we also changed how we work internally in our git repo to be able to release fixes more often.🤠

I use Coolify. I paid for a different deployment app that doesn’t even do what Coolify does! Highly recommend.
I found a couple of gotchas since I’ve been using it but it’s been great and performative.

People have been asking for a UI update for over two years. We deliberately put that work aside while we focused on making Coolify stable, reliable, and production-ready.
We finally reached a point where we had the room to invest in the UI without compromising that work. So this isn't UI instead of reliability - it's UI after reliability.
Coolify users deserve both: a platform they can trust in production and an interface that doesn't feel like an afterthought.
Redesigning the UI is the headline feature for a tool people use to run production servers? The folks actually using this want deploys that do not randomly fail and services that stay up. A new color scheme is not what makes version news.
