I'm driving Alpine Loop. My favorite road in the entire world during the best time of year.
I'm stuck behind a cyclist going uphill for probably 10-15 minutes. He's going maybe 4mph. It's busy, cars coming both directions. I can't pass. He's in the middle of the road, clearly trying to prevent cars behind him from passing.
The line behind me starts getting long.
I FINALLY pass him. He glares at me.
A few minutes later I am now going downhill. I am behind a couple cars but we are moving at a reasonable pace, no problem.
I see the cyclist approaching me from behind as he is catching up now.
He then has the AUDACITY to angrily wave at me and the other cars telling us to move to the side so that he can pass.
Sorry spandex-boy, ain't happening.
So yes, ban cyclists from Alpine Loop. Especially during the busiest time of the day and the busiest time of the year.

Something changed at Texas Health HEB/Denton.
Among its current Internal Medicine residents, graduates of Pakistani medical schools make up:
PGY-3: 5 of 20 = 25%
PGY-2: 3 of 19 = 16%
PGY-1: 13 of 21 = 62%
The newest class isn’t just more international, nearly two-thirds of the entire class attended medical school in Pakistan.
Maybe this is what happens when an Abbott-appointee simultaneously serves as U.S. coordinator for an initiative of Pakistan’s Ministry of Planning.

My dear Kirsten passed away yesterday peacefully in her sleep. She fought cancer with everything she had, she was so brave and did so many hard things…I’m gonna miss her terribly. Today is our 12 yr anniversary, we built an amazing life in those 12 years, 2 homes, 2 kids, 3 dogs, countless memories. I love you Kirsten with all my heart. ❤️
