for blitz, it's knowing stolas had someone seemingly perfect for him, someone who could offer him everything blitz thinks he can't and more, and still chose him. whether you agree with that type of trope or not, it's the confirmation that could finally leave no room for doubt.

The conversation in episode 4 wasn't about the promise of a relationship "Not losing each other" means remaining in other person's life, not necessarily dating, it can be as friends, sometimes even only acquaintances with distance
