The Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation (DoWR, RD&GR), Ministry of Jal Shakti, has launched the 7th National Water Awards (NWAs) for seeking applications in various categories on 29th June, 2026.
The categories included in the 7th NWAs are (i) Best State, (ii) Best District, (iii) Best Urban Local Body, (iv) Best Implemented Project-Dam Safety, and (v) Best Industry for CSR.
The awards focus on recognizing exemplary contributions in the water sector and encouraging wider participation in water conservation and water management.
