ADHD brain. Building apps with AI, and I don't know how to code. I post about: - testing new AI tools (Claude, Grok Bot, ChatGPT) side by side - vibe coding real apps in public (Stoic Days, a sobriety tracker) - the messy, honest side of ADHD and getting sober If any of that sounds like you, stick around. What are you building right now?

Seriously @elonmusk it’s getting out of control and making the x user experience bad
Feature request for @X: let us collapse reply spam that's all the same. Right now every third post in my feed is someone asking @bot for a mail.grokbot.com address, and it's worse than ads. Fold identical replies into one "+400 people asked this" line.

Day 2 of @github suspension with no email advising why and no response from support. This is preventing me updating my repo and keeping my live site and app development from progressing.

I’ve been testing ChatGPT’s new free Intelligent UI feature, Claude Haiku 5.5 and Grok Bot for an app profit calculator dashboard. ChatGPT 'free Intelligent UI' got me started, but I had to switch to Work (Sol-6.1 Ultra) to finish it. That left me wondering how far a free user can get before hitting the same roadblock. Creating an interactive answer and finishing a shareable app seem to be different experiences Haiku 5.5 version was simple but effective. I could quickly review it and make changes Grok Bot took over 20 minutes for a first draft. By then, I’d already viewed and refined the ChatGPT and Haiku versions three times each For me, the biggest difference was how quickly I could get something usable in front of me and improve it. Try the dashboards and compare for yourself: ChatGPT/Work: subscription-pricing-studio.… Claude: profit-calc-tool.pages.dev/ Grok Bot: profitpad.pages.dev/ #AI #AppDevelopment #BuildInPublic

Anthropic now gives Max and Team plans monthly API credits: $100 on Max 5x, $200 on Max 20x, and up to $500 pooled on Team. For non-coders building apps with AI, that's real money back. I'm putting mine into agent creation for dev and debugging.

We’re rolling out monthly Claude Platform API credits for Max and Team plans: Max 5x: $100 Max 20x: $200 Team: up to $500, pooled Works on any model, including Haiku 5.5, in your code or third-party harnesses. How it works and full terms: support.claude.com/en/articl…

Day 149 sober. I tracked every one of those days in an iOS app I built myself with AI, and I'm not a coder. ADHD brain, one day at a time. Hardest thing for me is boredom and anxiety so I need to keep busy.

OpenAI is putting a banked usage reset into every paid account to celebrate 40M active users on Codex and ChatGPT Work. If you vibe code like I do, you know hitting the limit mid-build is the worst. What are you spending yours on?
Day 3/ The big one is GPT-6 in Chat, but today is also a little celebration day with a new high of 40M active users across Codex and ChatGPT Work. Loading a banked reset in everyone's paid accounts. See you again tomorrow!

OpenAI just launched ChatGPT for Teens, plus a College Planner and new study tools. As someone with ADHD, I'd have killed for an AI study buddy at 16. Smart move, or are we raising a generation that can't study without one?
We're sharing progress on ChatGPT for Teens, our ChatGPT experience for people under 18, alongside a preview of College Planner, new study tools, and support for college advisers and teen voices. ChatGPT for Teens applies automatically to accounts identified as belonging to someone under 18, with protections on by default. Coming soon: College Planner brings application requirements, deadlines, tasks and financial-aid steps together for high school students in the U.S. planning to attend a four-year college. We'll keep building these tools, evaluating how they and their protections work in practice, and sharing what we learn. openai.com/index/teens-learn…

if you’re trying out Grok @Bot for the first time today, I suggest first connecting apps that you use regularly so that your bot has enough context about the work you do, and the tools it needs to do the job. for example, your calendar, slack, issue tracker, CRM, Google Drive etc you don’t need to rush into making multiple bots! your primary bot is very capable even on its own. i’d even recommend doing everything with one bot first before you make new ones. the reason you might want to add new bots is for specialization and organization, but that can come later in a one bot setup, your bot does all the work that your normally do. when you have multiple bots, it’s more like having a team, and you can design that team in a way that matches how you like to best work. for example, if you work in GTM, you might want one bot to organize all work for a single customer. or you may want to have specialists that handle one small part of the overall workflow, like an Outreach bot when you feel like it makes sense to add new bots to your team, check out our bot marketplace: x.ai/bot/marketplace or if you want to design your own, try my bot designer Dr Eggbot who can make you high quality bots: x.ai/bot/_jOdbfkB16zxu7MRcmR…

Breaking! Lauren says current Grok model is not competitive (in a round-a-bout way) :)
Replying to @TokenGremlin
roast away! personally i only care about building the best product for our users. whether its our model or someone else’s doesn’t really bother me. this is my own opinion of course but i do hope that our next models will be competitive. let’s see what happens

uh @AnthropicAI why so many @claudeai windows popping up on my macbook?

Im confused - I thought Grok 4.x was to be the frontier and used by bot? Why the change?

Cheers Albanese Australia under Albanese hasn’t banned “free speech” in one go. It’s chipped at it through online safety. What’s live: eSafety takedowns, under-16 social ban, doxxing crimes, a privacy tort, sexual deepfake laws, and tougher hate-crime / antisemitism rules. Courts have pushed back twice — X didn’t have to delete Wakeley footage worldwide, and one cyber-abuse notice got tossed. What didn’t pass: the misinformation bill (killed Nov 2024) and a federal racial-vilification offence. Still on the table: a digital “duty of care” that could push platforms to over-moderate. No US First Amendment here. Just a thinner implied freedom — and a lot more pressure on platforms to decide what’s too hot.

OpenAI says a fixed desktop app is now available for macOS and Linux for the new-Work-thread issue. The Windows fix is still rolling out, so the incident isn’t fully resolved status.openai.com/incidents/…
