Putting these charts showing infection increases across different age groups together... it's staggering. How can anyone look at this and still say with absolute certainty "Covid infections in no way weaken your immune system".

Articles and studies detailing the long lasting after effects of covid infections have been published in: Nature Medicine, The Lancet, The Lancet Infectious Diseases, The Lancet Respiratory Medicine, The Lancet Psychiatry, The Lancet Neurology, The Lancet Child & Adolescent Health, The Lancet Healthy Longevity, The New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, JAMA Internal Medicine, JAMA Neurology, JAMA Psychiatry, JAMA Pediatrics, JAMA Cardiology, JAMA Network Open, BMJ, BMJ Medicine, Annals of Internal Medicine, PLOS Medicine, eClinicalMedicine, eBioMedicine, Science, Science Translational Medicine, Science Advances, Cell, Cell Host & Microbe, Immunity, Nature, Nature Communications, Nature Neuroscience, Nature Cardiovascular Research, Nature Immunology, Nature Aging, Nature Mental Health, Nature Microbiology, European Heart Journal, Circulation, Circulation Research, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, European Respiratory Journal, American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Thorax, Brain, Neurology, Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery & Psychiatry, Alzheimer's & Dementia, Kidney International, Journal of the American Society of Nephrology, Clinical Infectious Diseases, Journal of Infectious Diseases, Emerging Infectious Diseases, Clinical Microbiology and Infection, Diabetes Care, Gut, Gastroenterology, Blood, Arthritis & Rheumatology, Rheumatology, Pediatrics, Pediatric Research, Obstetrics & Gynecology, British Journal of Sports Medicine, Journal of Clinical Investigation, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and Scientific Reports. This is not quackery. It's not low quality. It's not junk science. It's not debated. It's detailed, exhaustive, thoroughly researched science: Covid infections increase your risk of a vast range of health problems. Vaccinations do not prevent that increase in risk. Having had Covid before does not prevent that increase in risk. The only thing that prevents the increase in risk is to *not catch Covid*. There's a wave now, so mask up.

China is the main reason why oil never went above $150. They dramatically reduced demand. But not to help the US or to undermine Iran. Rather, to secure their own interest, which is to avoid a global economic recession. My interview with @AJEnglish

If it’s Long Covid, it’s not Paxlovid. Yeah.. they abandoned it for HIV too. Oh you didn’t know? Paxlovid is two drugs: 1) Nirmatrelvir The drug that directly inhibits the SARS-CoV-2 main protease (Mpro), preventing the virus from processing proteins needed for replication. 2) Ritonavir An older HIV protease inhibitor, approved in 1996, during the first generation of protease-inhibitor antiretroviral therapy. In early trials Ritonavir demonstrated clinical benefit. But at full antiviral doses it was difficult to tolerate, with substantial gastrointestinal effects, metabolic effects, liver toxicity concerns, and more drug interactions and built up resistance. We’re reliving history in a way. Except sadly, HIV-AIDS was spun as a “gay disease.” Of course, as everyone learned more, they discovered that it was a sexually transmitted infection and bloodborne, etc. In the case of SARS-CoV-2, everybody breathes… Folks, there are no robust effective treatments for Long Covid. And like HIV-AIDS, it breaks your body down and causes neurological impairments and shuts down your body’s immune system so you become susceptible to every other infection. And worse… at its core…SARS2 is a vascular disease. It can destroy and disrupt everything the blood touches.
RECOVER Paxlovid trial results released today. Another fail.

This is why we never should have used monotherapy for SARS-COV2. Like HIV, the virus can quickly develop resistance against protease inhibitors. Multiple antivirals with different functions, similar to HIV ART, would be wiser. Protease inhibitors could be effective in combination. That is, if the virus isn't already resistant.
A new study found overlapping resistance patterns across Paxlovid-like SARS-CoV-2 antivirals. This matters for future Long COVID viral-persistence trials, where resistance could block clearance, similar to why HIV treatment uses combinations. Let's break it down.
